Caryn Tanis founded Media Network International  in 1987, having done extensive traveling throughout the Americas.  She has spent over 20 years dedicated to the duty free industry and has expanded into travel, tourism and other product categories. 

Born in Philadelphia, Tanis spent most of her formative years in New York and worked as a Copywriter for several advertising agencies before moving to Miami.  Caryn resides with her husband, an attorney in Customs and International Trade, and has 2 children. 

She is involved in martial arts, running, water sports and skiing; longtime patron of the New World Symphony and Miami City Ballet, active in politics, member of the Advertising Federation of Greater Miami and the International Advertising Association.
