SkyWritings is the official inflight magazine of Air Jamaica, the largest airline based in the Caribbean with the most direct flights into Jamaica than any other carrier.  World Travel Awards voted Air Jamaica the “Best airline to the Caribbean” for ten consecutive years and the Caribbean’s leading business class airline in 2005.  The airline has also been awarded the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences Five Star Diamond Award - an honor only five other airlines in the world can claim.  With Air Jamaica Vacations and a partnership with Delta Air Lines, Air Jamaica comprises the most complete travel organization in the Caribbean.

Celebrating over 35 years in publication,
SkyWritings is the quintessential magazine on Caribbean life produced in Jamaica by Jamaicans.  The magazine is found exclusively in the seat pockets of all Air Jamaica and Air Jamaica Express flights.

The airlines serve the Jamaican cities of Kingston, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios; Other Caribbean islands of the Bahamas, Barbados, Bonaire, Cuba, Curaçao, Grand Cayman and Grenada; U.S. cities of Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Los Angeles, Miami, New York (JFK), Newark, Orlando and Philadelphia; And internationally to Toronto and London.

There are 30,000 complimentary copies printed six-times a year reaching nearly 2.2 million annual passengers who spend an average of 3 hours flying to their destination. Additionally, Air Jamaica utilizes the publication for V.I.P. distribution, public relations and travel industry promotion. The magazine is also mailed to subscribers. The articles and photography in
SkyWritings have been critically acclaimed around the world. It’s Jamaica`s best magazine and reaches local, regional and international markets and its readers have one of the highest levels of discretionary  spending  in  the region of  which 62% are from the U.S., 22% from Jamaica, 10% from the U.K. and 6% from the Eastern Caribbean and other regions.

     Nearly half a million
SkyWritings readers fly between South Florida (Miami/Ft. Lauderdale) and Jamaica – the majority of whom are Jamaican businessmen and traders as well as families with twin residences. New York is Air Jamaica`s second most important gateway accounting for 270,000 passengers including Jamaican residents.
