Latitudes
is the official inflight magazine of American Eagle. Established in
1984, American Eagle is the largest regional airline and seventh largest
airline in the world.
Together with American Airlines, American Eagle makes
up over two-thirds of the airline traffic in the Caribbean. On American
Eagle’s 1,700 daily departures, passengers are provided with a
complimentary copy of Latitudes.
This bimonthly publication, conveniently placed in the
seat-back pockets, features award-winning stories and photographs on the
myriad cities served by American Eagle, from the tropical beauty of the
Caribbean to the metropolitan allure of North America.
Additionally, Latitudes
is
distributed in American Airlines’ Admiral Clubs and select TWA
Ambassador Clubs throughout
North America, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Panamá.
The magazine has a bimonthly print run of 86,750 and is read by more
than 6.5 million passengers annually of which the median age is 43 and
73% traveling for business.
Latitudes is distributed onboard American Eagle
flights throughout the Caribbean to Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas
(Freeport, George Town, Marsh Harbour, Nassau), Barbados, Bonaire,
Curaçao, Dominica, Dominican Republic (La Romana, Puerto Plata, Punta
Cana, Santiago, Santo Domingo), Grenada, Guadeloupe, Puerto Rico, St.
Croix, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St.
Vincent/Canouan and Tortola/Virgin Gorda; in the U.S. to
Baltimore/Washington, Bangor, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland,
Columbus, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Fort Myers, Greensboro,
Jacksonville, Key West, Miami, Nashville, New York (JFK, LaGuardia),
Newark, Norfolk, Orlando, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Raleigh Durham,
Richmond, St. Louis, Washington D.C. (National); in Canada to Halifax,
Montreal and Toronto. With the recent addition of Aguascalientes,
Cancún, Chihuahua, Cozumel, Guadalajara, León del Bajío/Guanajuato,
Monterrey, San Luis Potosí, Tampico and Torreón/Gómez Palacio in México,
distribution will be increased.

INSERTS
Special
rates apply for preprinted inserts, insert cards, gatefolds, and
special units. Availability and prices will be provided upon
request. Inserts count toward frequency.
Ad Material Requirements:
Electronic files are to be sent in Macintosh format only.
Accepted programs include QuarkExpress, Adobe
Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & Freehand. Include all
postscripts, screen fonts, all in images in EPS, JPEG or TIFF
formats in high resolution (at least 300 DPI at 100%).
All photos must be scanned at 300 DPI, saved in CMYK
mode as a .tiff format.
A color proof must accompany ad for all formats.*
Live material not intended to bleed must be kept at least 3/8"
from all sides to allows for trim.
Double page spreads: Perfect alignment of type or design
across gutter of two facing pages is not guaranteed. Live
matter in facing page subject cannot be closer than 1/8" to
gutter.
*If a high quality, color proof such as Kodak Approvals
(preferred), Imation Commercial Matchprint or similar analog
proofs are not provided, then we cannot guarantee color.
Please note that all proofs, must be made according to
SWOP standards. Proofs that do not meet this criteria cannot be
used for color match.
